Jesse has been tattooing since 1995 and is the owner of Sakura Tattoo. Raised in the MD/DC area he moved to Winchester, VA to start working with John Joyes who refined his tattooing skills and taught him the “old-school” way of tattooing things like; making needles, mixing pigment and machine tuning. Jesse is a versatile artist and enjoys tattooing in all styles with a focus on traditional Japanese imagery. classic Americana tattoos, black and gray tattoos and biomechanical tattoos.

John Hoffmaster
John has been working with Jesse at Sakura tattoo since February of 2010. He served his apprenticeship under Jesse and is currently tattooing fulltime. John enjoys all styles of tattooing but his main focus is on black and gray tattooing.
